New digital surveillance cameras have been installed to keep an eye on the Doreen Wilber statue and target. According to Don Orris, the updated cameras provide enough clarity to read the donors’ names on the granite pillar without using the zoom function.
The Greene County Community Foundation funded the cameras and Home State Bank provided the sign and the majority of the needed DVR costs. The surveillance is piggy-backed on the banks’ system.
Orris administered the project through the city of Jefferson. He thanked the Community Foundation and Home State Bank for helping make the Doreen Wilber Plaza more secure.
